Flower Child // Zaful

I was sent this floral set from Zaful, it's the cutest thing ever in life. I was in need of summer clothes + it came just in time!! the best part about it is that it doesn't fall down/I don't have to constantly adjust my outfit all day.

Also, my laptop is finally fixed after half a year of not being able to use it! My productivity has definitely suffered because of it, so I was forced to find alternative ways to create. and my efficiency just wasn't there. But all is well now and I'm happy. see yall soon!  going to be collaborating with some friends over the summer so stay tuned

the golden days // Sammydress

I...love layering, but I don't really feel like this outfit is 100% my style I think it's more like my old style yk? still dig this skirt from Sammydress though, they have such cool pieces that kind of amp up my dull looking closet. When I travel abroad I plan to embrace my actual style and bring the outfits in my head that so desperately want to come out. to the surface.

the quarter's almost over and school has been great, I've made a couple of new friends but have mostly stuck with (that sounds bad, I hate English) my older ones (who I love entirely). I sometimes hold off on initiating new friendships because it just takes so much time and energy to even like....talk. anyway I'm so so so excited to be traveling abroad, I know it'll be a life altering experience and I kinda want to cry tears of joy just thinking about it.

Hope all of you are well, ttys! <3 I think I'll do a style inspiration post soon, I definitely need it.

Holiday Look // Zaful Velvet Dress

Velvet Cami Pencil Dress - Zaful

Hi everyone!! I hope you had an amazing 2016. Mine was the absolute worst for the most part if we're being honest, but it ended on a a great note and for that I'm grateful :)

This is the outfit I wore on Christmas, it was originally paired with an ugly red Christmas sweater with patches of trees and gingerbread men on them, I wore it all day but got some flour on it from cooking so I had to take it off, but the outfit looks much less kiddish this way. This Velvet Pencil Dress from Zaful is my favorite thing, velvet always looks good no matter what so I'm glad I got to rock this. I probably should have paired it with a different type of heel but I wasn't thinking too much about it.

Anyway I hope you all have an amazing 2017 and more years to come!

Blue dawn // Zaful

Trench Coat - Zaful
 pants - HM // hat - Forever 21

Hey everyone!! I'm so glad I have this trench 'coat' now I could cry, I can't wait to wear it in the spring since it's so lightweight! Also as you can see, I'm wearing pants again. I'm not a pants person for whatever reason but I think I should be sometimes, some of them are...okay..I guess.

Lately my thoughts have consisted of the effects misogyny and racism in the U.S and elsewhere and it's making my head hurt tbqh. I'll probably share with you some fleshed out thoughts on it later, maybe in my next post or maybe I'll plan a post on it for the near future, we'll see.

I almost forgot to mention my sister's dog! He actually posed with me for a picture, he's usually must shadier so I was proud of him. Hope you guys are having a rad winter break <3

How to Style: Band Tees

Styling band tees or black t-shirts in general for me usually goes along the lines of: t-shirt, choker, denim shorts, Docs. But I changed it up a bit here. As you've probably noticed, I am not a pants person, not because pants aren't great -- but because I love skirts and rompers and dresses and shorts etc... pants never ever look right on me and I hardly know why 😕 but THESE right here I'm in love with and need to get 11 more pairs tbqh. And to go with these pants, I'm glad I could find the most hardcore band tee in my closet that is One Direction. I got it from a thrift store in honor of all of the boy bands I loved before they betrayed me in one way or another,  except for Backstreet Boys, they haven't done anything so I still love them.

See you all soon!
