My friend Michelle agreed to model for me and I'm so lucky. Love how this shoot turned out. I had just thrifted that dress from Goodwill so I could wear it myself for a shoot, but she brought it to life. I'm going to try to share more of my photography + styling on here that's not of myself :). Anyway!!

Hypebeast I

I had the pleasure of working with some very talented people for a collaborative project thought of by my girl Champagne. I'm really so proud of it!! The model I shot, Eunjoo, styled herself and was so fun to work with. I'll be sharing more details about the Lookbook shoot in a later post.

Hong Kong // Photo Diary

I am currently in Hong Kong, it's so amazing here. Most of these pictures were taken on rainy days, so I'm sorry for the gloom -- but really it looks beautiful here whether it's sunny or raining. it is making me reflect more than I usually do on how so many people are connected to their culture. as a Black girl I'm definitly connected to Black culture and Black American culture, but the culture that I have now is not 100% the culture of my ancestors, and that makes me feel disconnected sometimes. Like I was born from nowhere. but at most, I have the pride in knowing my lineage and that's something to embrace And somewhere start from.

If any of you ever have a chance to come here you should!! just don't be surprised if you end up wanting to pack up and move here too <3

NYFWM - General Idea 

Hey everyone! I'm in New York and it feels nicer this time around. I'll be exercising my photographer  skills for different fashion shows and events around NYC for the summer, and this particular collection was not one to be missed! From backstage to the runaway, designer Bumsuk Choi put on a great show, one of the highlights was watching him carry his puppy around like a newborn baby (technically that's what it is), it made me want a dog 99% more. It was an all around exciting show to document and I'll update you all soon with some of my adventures in the city!

July Photo Diary || 2015

Somehow, July went by both slowly and quickly. I don't remember it as a whole. What I do remember is not getting enough sleep, going faux shopping then real shopping, becoming friends with costumers at work who I'll never see again, and watching Daredevil every day, which by the way is the best Marvel show on the block; watch it! For this month, I plan to draw a lot and practice new songs on my piano until my fingers fall off, and to enjoy my summer break because it'll be gone in no time. Anyway, enjoy!

June Photo Diary || 2015

I don't post photo diaries that much, which is complete nonsense considering I take pictures of anything and everything just about every day. So to change that, here are some moments of my life as of last month + the last day of May, that I've taken either with my phone or camera. My phone's camera quality isn't the best by a long-shot, but like... I donut care. The important thing is that I have a phone in the first place, even if only to snap shots of my half -eaten food. Anway I hope ya'll enjoy these mostly very ocean-y, very blue pictures! 

planning to go to the library a few times a week after or before work, it helps me operate less like a zombie if I read a book throughout my day

my sister and I got soaked in the rain this day. my shoes had puddles in them and I ate a burger that made my stomach do seven hundred backflips in the worst way. good day, though!

this sand was nearly impossible to walk on without shoes, but I walked without shoes anyway and only got hurt 4 1/2 times.
